Hi all,
It's been quite some time. I'm sorry that I have to bear bad news with my new journal entry. A few days ago while my roommates and I were all out of our house some people got in through our backdoor and ransacked our placed. Luckily none of us were there. In the wake though I realized that both my old computer (which I still hadn't transferred the information over to my new computer) and my camera were both missing. Needless to say, this account is about to get even more inactive than it already is. The robbers probably went immediately and pawned off my stuff, but there are so many pawn shops in Baltimore that I don't even know where to begin.
I don't feel as violated as many people say they feel after having their house broken into. I felt extremely numb the day of, but violated, no. I couldn't stay at my house that night and went over to my boyfriend's because I kept hearing noises and my imagination was running with stupid crazy scenarios. Then again you never know when they'll make a second run-through. Then again, they really didn't leave anything. Maybe next time they can come through and make themselves a sandwich or something. Maybe some dinner.
Anyway, consider this a funeral for my beloved Annabelle, the first real camera I ever had. I've made so many beautiful pictures with her and I'm sad that I'll probably never see her again. But I'm not sure if I'll be investing in another one like her. Maybe I'll just go for a good point and shoot that has great depth of field and pixel amount.
With love & beauty,
Ash
